OUR CARE IS DIFFERENT
DASH was named to embody two concepts, one meant to evoke the idea of performance with dash meaning speed, agility, power, and the other MORE IMPORTANT meant to capture quality of life…let me explain. Author Linda Ellis has written both a poem titled “The Dash” and book titled “Live Your Dash: Make Every Moment Matter” that describe the importance of knowing that it is not your birth or death that matters most, but how you spend each passing year, it’s about the dash in between those two dates. This has inspired me to provide a service that will play a huge role in allowing you to function at your highest level in order to optimally “Live Your Dash.”
We believe life is a lot more fun when you are living pain free and doing the things you love!
Helping our clients live their “DASH” and embrace their athletic identity by providing elite physical therapy and performance training that empowers our clients to achieve their individual health/fitness goals with return to peak performance, not just pre-injury status.
Establishing transition of physical therapy in the greater Brazoria County area towards evidence based treatment with a one on one, hands-on approach, that is tailored to the individual for accelerated recovery, optimal performance, return to sport and/or life’s demands, and promoting injury prevention for a long-term solution.
Our goal is to provide quality care to our active community including post-operative care, orthopedic, and sports rehabilitation, and performance training, with intention to promote active longevity, and supply information related to prevention and wellness of injury and disease. From patients post-operative orthopedic surgery, to the weekend warrior, to the post-partum mommas getting back to exercise, to the youth and collegiate athlete, DASH will be able to help you unleash your inner-athlete and reach your individual goals, whether that is return to sport, exercise, and/or life’s daily demands.
Patients will work one on one with the Owner & Principal Manager of DASH, native to Brazoria County, Dr. Bailey Hammack, PT, DPT. Bailey received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2017, following graduation she expanded her knowledge with orthopedic residency training through Harris Health System providing extensive differential diagnosis, injury prevention and skilled. orthopedic manual therapy training.
